La Rambla has to be Barcelona's most famous street. One long thoroughfare reaching from Placa de Catalunya - Barcelona's magnificent main square, all the way down to the Mediterranean. La Rambla cuts right through Barcelona's fascinating old town.
On one side of La Rambla is the historic Barri Gotic, Barcelona's medieval district. On the other side lies La Raval, a jumble of medieval streets and intriguing alleyways. La Rambla and its surrounding streets are bursting with life - as well as the numerous tourist attractions, you'll find an enormous selection of bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. This really is a fantastic location for your Barcelona experience.
The apartment is located right on La Rambla itself. The apartment is on the second floor, accessed via lift, and sits at the back of the building - a haven of tranquillity from the bustling Rambla. There is a small balcony, big enough to sit out on (we have a table and two chairs for a little al fresco dining), with views out towards Montjuic.
On entering the apartment you will be impressed with the feeling of space. The vestibule opens out into a large modern kitchen area, fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob. All cutlery, crockery and glassware are provided. The kitchen then leads into the dinning area with a large glass dinning table and seating for four.
The lounge is comfortable, spacious yet cosy with a designer sofa bed and two separate armchairs (see photos). We have also provided a TV, and CD player. The lounge provides access to the terrace.
The bedroom is spacious but simple with a very attractive double iron bed, a large wardrobe and further access to the terrace. The smart marble bathroom is off the bedroom and has a full size bath with shower.
All bedding and towels are provided.
Sleeping arrangements: The apartment sleeps four guests. There is the double bed in the bedroom, a single sofa bed in the lounge and a further single sofa bed is provided with ample space in the dining area. Please keep in mind that access to the bathroom is through the bedroom.
This is a very smart apartment in a fabulous location - a fantastic base for exploring this wonderful city.

For the SONAR Festival dates of June 19,20,21 2008 there is a requirement for a minimum 5 night stay.
