This cosy 1st floor apartment really is a haven of tranquility. Once inside the apartment you won't believe you are slap bang in the heart of Barcelona's wonderful Barri Gotic. The apartment is reached through a private, gated entrance, down a pretty patiod passageway located in a street running between the world famous La Rambla and the pedestrian shopping street, Portal De L'Angel. Once inside this bright apartment you will find peace and tranquility as well as everything you might need for a self catering stay in this buzzing city. Step outside and you are surrounded by historic medieval streets packed with boutiques, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. Less than two minute's walk and you are on the bustling La Rambla, and three minutes away is the city hub - Placa de Catalunya. A perfect location.
The apartment has a light and airy living room with sofa, TV, DVD, Hi Fi and a breakfast bar dining area for four. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery as well as a full oven, four ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.
There are two bedrooms, the first has a large double bed, bedside tables with lamps and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom has a double bed and a bedside table with lamp.
The bathroom is clean and bright with a small bath and overhead shower and a hairdryer is provided.
The apartment has ADSL wireless internet connection.

- Guests will be required to produce a valid credit card on arrival. The card will be used to pre-authorise a security deposit as indicated on the apartment description page. This will be released on departure if the apartment has been left in a presentable condition, unless there have been any damages or complaints from neighbours, the police or other guests regarding anti-social behaviour.
- Hen and Stag parties are not permitted in this apartment.
- For this apartment the balance may be paid by cash or credit card. If paying the balance by credit card a processing charge of 2% will be applied.

"The hard rock cafe is just around the corner from the apartment, as is a nice pizzeria - both well worth the visit.
The cathedral was was amazing - as was the zoo and parc cuitedlla for the kids. You can take a cable car from near the waterfront up to Mountjuic and there is a great cafe there overlooking the city which is a must too. The majic fountain was closed for repairs until March so if you want to see it you would be best checking first as it isn't always on."
